‘Tis the season isn’t it? So I decided that why not come up with an article on the best gifts for the procrastinating entrepreneur on your shopping list this year. I am sure that just about everyone has someone in their network that falls into this category.
A Day Planner – Why not help that procrastinator on your list know where they need to be, and when! For your non-technical friends and family FranklinCovey makes some great organizational products and a good friend of mine has been a paper planner customer for years. Check it out at FranklinCovey.
Electronic Day Planner/To Do list - Ok, so who doesn’t have a Blackberry nowadays – if you don’t you really should! The calendar, and to-do list applications are simple, but very functional not to mention that you can sync it up with just about anything out there. Personally, the BlackBerry Curve is on my wish-list!
A good alarm clock – I am not talking about an alarm clock that your parents used to have, I am talking about the Cadillac of alarm clocks here, one that will never let you sleep in again while managing to fulfill all your gadget requirements at the same time. Check out the “Neverlate Executive” alarm clock from American Innovative, and I guarantee you’ll never sleep in again.
Books, Books, and more Books – So if you know me, you know how much of a bookie I am. My commute to and from work each day is usually occupied by at least one book, if not two. Here’s a few which I would highly recommend to all procrastinators out there. The first is by David Allen and is one of my recent favorites, the second doesn’t deal directly with procrastination but is a classic and in my opinion should be read by everyone (not just those procrastinators).
