If you remember in earlier post, I suggested waiting until January passed before you made any resolutions (i.e. Goals) for 2008. So now that’s its February I decided to post a few items regarding where I want to take PE in 2008.
First, as most of you know, I registered this domain as a joke after a conversation between my good friend Andrew and I at a favourite local hangout. After parking the domain for what seemed to be ages, I decided to start a blog, my problem was that I defined my direction as “discussing issues facing entrepreneurs in the 21st century”; I know what you’re thinking. Exactly the heck does that mean? Trust me; I have been struggling with the same question. My buddy Frank and I have daily discussions around entrepreneurship and thanks to those conversations (I owe you a beer or two Frank) I have decided that for 2008 PE is going to get a major change in direction. So here’s what you’re going to see in the coming months,
- First, I am going to narrow the sites focus, instead of discussing the wide open topic of “issues”, the site is going to “Provide inspiration for today’s Entrepreneurs”.
- Entrepreneur profiles – I am addicted to Donny Deutsch, and I think that massive value can be gained by seeing how other people have managed to become successful, so profiles are going to become a major focus for this website.
- Book reviews – There are so many books out there, no single person has the time to read them all. I’ll attempt to help you out a bit by posting comments and reviews of the books that have affected me and my business ventures the most.
- One of the things that I have always struggled with is putting my ideas into action, so we’re going to talk a lot more about beating procrastination and how by doing that you will become more successful.
There you have it, 2008 for PE. I hope that you’re as excited as I am.
Here is to a successful 2008!
