I love this article about the magic button smoke and mirrors show! It sums up nicely just how bad the “get rich quick” attitude has become. I know that “get rich overnight” schemes have always existed, but it seems to me that it’s getting even crazier nowadays.
Let me sum it up for you,
There are no shortcuts to making money on the web, you have to do the work, and spend the time tuning and retuning your site in order to increase it’s conversion rate, it’s as simple as that.
I highly recommend that if you’re not already using Google Webmaster’s Tools and in particular Google’s Website Optimizer that you have a look at both tools. On top of that you better add Always Be Testing: The Complete Guide to Google Website Optimizer
